Fire Safety . . .
Last Summer we had a very close call when a fire started due to a glass lying in dry glass.Fortunately the campers concerned had the right equipment on hand and were quick to extinguish it, emptying several fire extinguishers onto it.It is important to be prepared for incidents such as this. Have fire extinguishers on hand, and make sure everyone knows where they are. It’s also worth keeping some towels handy which can be soaked in water and used to extinguish fires. Have a plan, and ensure everyone in your camp knows it.
